Giclée Art print of Jeaneen's acrylic painting titled, Resist.

This drawing/painting is inspired by the Monarch Butterflies' annual communal migration to Michoacan, Mexico. At the time I was heavily influenced by women of the Zapatista guerrilla movement and their fight for change and against the disparities within their community. Personally, the butterflies life cycle is symbolic of the human soul's ability to undergo different stages of metamorphosis, change and rebirth.
